COMEDY: What was Shakespeare’S weary of comedy (Shakespearean Comedy)
Shakespeare’s most renowned and popular comedy was midsummer nights dream. In a Shakespearean Comedy there is collision as many people would find some of his work offensive, but on the other hand many people may find his work normal as back in the time he wrote this play it may have been OK to say most of these things. The genre of Tragedy and Comedy will be very difficult to separate depending on parts of certain plays. Their essential difference lies in the different relation of the leading characters. Just like in the merchant of Venice Act2 Scene2 where Lancelot and his father gobbo are talking and as you may know gobbo is blind and in the scene Lancelot is giving directions so this could portray as Comedy or Tragedy so… Who knows???
